Life is life, and whether it is a blessing or a horror depends very much upon the beholder. It is easy to see life as beautiful in a nation where food and clean water are plentiful, where the fields are not laced with landmines, and where misery need not be an everpresent companion. It is also easy to see life as beautiful when dreams have not yet been crushed or even the daily routines we take for granted have been made difficult by illness.
Life is most beautiful when we exist between the repose of perfect detachment and the compassion to act on behalf of those who suffer. Namaste.

Life can be so beautiful when you have a love to share with another. It is beauty in itself. Like a white rose, that represents the dove.
Here is something I wrote in May of this year. I will share it one more time with those who can appreciate beauty........
Look around and see the beauty
It lies in the darkest path
It is in a moon laden sky
Behold it in a baby's face
Or perhaps in the eyes of lovers
Oh how we miss what we don't see
We have to look to see the beauty ahead
Nature holds bounties of beauty within
Who can deny a cloud in the sky
Pink and blue with little specks of dust
For beauty beholds in the eye of one
Perhaps it dwells in the hearts of two
Seek to find the beauty in this world
For it is a falling star in the sky
A breath of air taken for granted
Or perhaps one's love passing by like a stranger
Who can know beauty without speaking it
Be forever grateful for the breeze of the day
For a sun filled sky
Or maybe a butterfly fluttering its wings
Even the raindrops on pavement holds beauty
For water is the wellspring of life.
Quiet lazy days of summer
With remembrances of things past
The chirp of a robin in spring
The worm slowly being pulled from the ground
Do not waste time waiting for beauty to come
Seek it out before it's too late
The hot breath of a loved one on your neck,
Holds beauty in your mind never to be forgotten
Long after we mortals are gone
The earth will spin in beauty, glory and wonderment.

Yes I do.
Especially when I look into the eyes of my 10 1/2 year old grandaughter and the eyes of my 3 year old grandson.
When they laugh and shower me with kisses then you can see just how beautiful it really is.
Peace and love back at ya!

There never was world peace
Love there still a lot of love, but in the last 20 years it went down some.

Life is a gift from God so it starts out beautiful. What we do with it decides how beautiful it stays.

In light of the tragedies going on in our world it's easy to lose sight that life is indeed beautiful - la vie est belle.

Life, in my opinon, is beautiful. And that's something from a pessimist. It's so short, we have to make something of it; something worth memoring. Even just by touching one person's heart, our lives are made beautiful.
