Starting with just raw materials such as Iron Ore, Water, Salt, sand, dirt, Seeds, trees, etc. what could make. As if you were put back in time before any current advancements. So all the raw materials are all there but that is all. You just use what you know in your head currently today. No books. Where would you start ?

Thank You for your answers so far. But I think it is funny what "Malcy" said. They are the type of people that live off of the rest of us who actually design and develop things. I know that there would be very little in my lifetime that I could develop just do to the raw time making one thing to build onto the next. "Malcy" represents to me the type of people that say nice words and then get taken over by the invading army. Sorry Malcy but positive words do not feed people.

I could manage a log cabin.
Cirric is right. Start with a fire. A bow and arrow for hunting is second. without food and clean water, I wouldn't live long enough for the cabin.
