Added later: Dear vijay_k, You must have seen the news paper report quoted in the blog. It mentioned that the other party (BSF Jawans )fled. They would not if they were right. Isn't it?
We are eager to hear their version. Would they dare to come forward and tell us?

The blog also pointed out that the Railway Police Super of Sealdah Station Mr. Barun Mallick said to Anandabazar (another city daily) that the BSF jawan didn't have any right at all to ask for Karins passport. Is he wrong?
It seems u are a corrupted Indian government official who think they r allpowerful and always right. Thats why u have made such nonsense and shameless remarks. Must be the only negative rating my question got was a gift from u. Thanks

No, Not at all.

This incident is a true brutal account of
what our policemen do in the society.
Such gruesome happenings can also
be seen in the following media reports:

1. Policemen beating Primary teachers
in a barbaric fashion, right in the state
capital of Bihar, who demanded regulari-
sation of their jobs. Police used tear gas
to disperse them. These teachers were
teaching for years,on a meagre salary
of about Rs.1500/-per month.

2. Same acts of police were seen in Ranchi,
capital of Jharkhand, when they beaten
primary teachers mercilessly about 2 months ago.

3. Yesterday, the police of Chandigarh, beaten
the temporary teacher(working for years), brutally
in front of camera, who demanded regular pay.

4. Four months ago, the police used lathi, water
canons to disperse Medical Students, protesting
against reservations.

Such brutal acts are patronised by all the political
leaders, so that the teachers leave such jobs
of educating the masses, & that the students remain
ignorant, illiterate to determine which is good for the
society. The leaders are interested in vote banks only.

5. Rape by police in custody and elsewhere is a common
crime.

6. Bribes taken by police is an essential perk and
they often boast of.

No I don't think that it was wrong to post it. This is a clear violation of human rights and the authorities in India should do something about this now.
