No, you should let him go. If he is dating someone else, you should stay away. You have to remember why you became ex's.
When you are with someone for a certain amount of time, even if you break up, it is natural to still think about them. It is time to move on.

From your question you say "again". So that tells me the two of you have been together even though he is going with another girl. Does the other girl know that you and your ex are still seeing each other? Does it not bother you that he is? Are you jealous of the fact that he is seeing someone else? Does it bother him that you are seeing someone else?
It is apparent to the two of you, that love is out of the question. You say you still like him, and that you know he still likes you.
If you were to happen to get back together, you realize that his infidelity, or yours will continue. Likeing one is onething, but "Love is Eternal"..

No because if he liked you then he would approach you and ask you out. Give him his space with his girlfriend and if he wants you then I'm pretty sure he'll tell you.
