I guess it depends who you are speaking with. Is this a personal conversation with someone you know or a stranger? Is it a business conversation? In either case, you can always pretend that something or someone else needs your immediate attention:
"Oh, please excuse me, someone is at the door" "I'm sorry, I have something on the stove that needs my attention"......"Oops, the dog/cat just knocked something over (puked on the floor)". For business: "I'm terribly sorry, I have to pick up the other line, I'll call you back"........"A customer just came in, may I call you back?" It never hurts to be polite even when you want to terminate a call for lack of words; maybe the next time will be different!

Traditionally,it is up to the person who placed the call to initiate the hang-up. If you run into an awkward silence and you placed the call just say,"Well, I guess that's about all I know for now. How about you?" If there is no more to say after that, say goodbye and hang up. If you are the call recipient and an uncomfortable amount of time has passed without the caller initiating a hang-up, make a joke like "Are you still there? I thought you had hung up!" That may give them the clue and an easy opening to say goodbye.

except your heart situation LEGALLY counts as a disability, AND the two one in all your canines are quite knowledgeable to mitigate your disability, they are actually not provider canines. additionally, once you're a valid provider canines coach, you should already understand that being knowledgeable as a shelter canines does not make your puppy a provider canines. Schutzhund training on my own won't prepare your canines that may assist you. additionally, I pretty doubt that your different canines are provider animals, judging by ability of the reality that inspite of being a "provider canines coach", you mustn't get your canines to pay attention with out speaking German. ask your self, in the event that they gained't take a seat once you tell them too, can they be depended directly to act civilly in public? Oh, and by ability of how, you should to re-evaluate carting your pets around in public formerly you get caught. a minimum of in my state, there are very heavy outcomes for calling a puppy a provider canines.

Sitting in silence while on the phone or cell is absolutely ridiculous. Say goodbye and call back later.

That's funny. I usually say, "You know, it's been really great talking to you, I am so glad you called". They normally let you go then. You would'nt be telling a lie, just cutting the conversation short. If I'm having a bad day, for whatever reasons, I usually say, "You know, I really have to go, I have so much to do".
