Depends if it is a creepy leering stare or just an "im checkin u out stare". It can either be very offensive or an unspoken compliment depending on the person doing the staring and exactly what they are staring at.

Staring like a stalker? Or staring and smiling back to show interest? I guess it depends on the body language. Staring as a means to get one's attention with chit-chat and getting to know you to follow is one thing. Knowing you and having you pop up and stare and stare would be threatening. I think with any animal long, steady staring could be seen as threatening. So...It depends on the situation. If I am walking past a guy and his gaze follows me, it is flattering. If I am walking past a guy and he glares balefully, I probably would stay in public places until he went away.

I think that he needs to get a hobby. If its a guy thats worth anything he'll work up the courage to come talk to you if he likes you. But on the other hand you know how men are.. they think with their dick and will bone and stare and whistle at anything that has a hole.

Depends who he is. But if he staring , then I think he likes me. Depends if the chick likes you or not to see what she thinks.

It actually sort of depends on how exactly he's looking at me...you can usually tell how they look at you if they're interested or just a creep.
