If you start with clean blow dried hair then use a curler set called Hot Stix you WILL look like you have a perm OR you can experiment..less curlers looser means curls are bigger and waves can be made . These are hard to put in but if you stick with it. you will be a pro. The great thing is that it will wash out.
They work on almost any length, cut, or style of hair Do not forget that if you don't keep up with a healthy trim/skim then it will difficult to curl you hair with anything.

Maybe consider a perm.

If you don't want it to be permed maybe try getting layers if you don't have them already. They layers will lighten the hair and make it easier to curl.

Also are you using a mouse or gel? You need to apply product to your hair after shampooing. This will help the curl to form better and stronger. Alot of people try curling the hair without using product, trust me it will not hold. Also use hairspray once you get your desired style to hold it from falling.

Also try not using conditioner before curling, or atleast not as much. A heavy conditioner will weigh the hair down and cause you to loose hold.

Good Luck!!

my mom also has really straight hair and the only thing that got it to stay for a while was she got perms. after a while your hair starts getting used to being curly and it will hold curls better.

When you get out of the shower put curly gel stuff in your hair after towel drying it for abouta minute.

The gel has to be VERY STRONG HOLD (my best friend has this problem all the time lol) but nothing that will weigh your head down & nothing sticky

then put your hair all twiseted & in curler and all kinds of curly crimpy way & make sure its tight then use the blow dryer and dry it like that when done wait like 10 min. then take your hair down & it should be curly iiii!!!!**** DO NOT BRUSH IT******!!!!iiii
put some nonfrizzy, sleek and shine, volume booster in your hair that works against humidity & your good to go.

good luck :0]

Use a curling iron or get a perm, actually a home perm is very easy to put in if you can find someone to do that it is very reasonable also

You can use a crimper or culing irons. I suggest you do it after you shower. Its much more better when or hair is clean.
