You found a sucker, now didn't you?! The original owner can come back and reclaim the car, despite who paid what and to who...doesn't matter. The one with the documentation backing his play wins the day. End of story. Any day would be a bad day to lose your car, stupid deal! Pass....

on the flipside, if you sell the car to someone and they can't retitle it so they get drunk and crash into a schoolbus full of kids guess who the parents of those kids are going to come after. 2 reasons why people don't have a title, there is a lean so pay it off, or you lost it, so go to the dmv website for the state where the car was titled, order a duplicate title, and be done with it.

you can get in trouble for it,,or have to give the buyer a full refund on it,,they have the right to have a clear title to it,,and if you cant produce one then it has to be sold for junk,,those are the rules just about anywhere you go,,if there,s a problem with getting a title you should tell the buyer about it,,otherwise prepare to give them there money back if you do sell it,,good luck..i hope this help,s.

1 - the people you sell it to, can't get it registered. They have to get the title from you, then take it to get it put in their name.
2 - it doesn't technically belong to them, if they never get the title in their name
