That way, eventually the U.S. will reach a sort of equilibrium with Mexico, until we become a third world nation, then few will want to come here. That will solve the immigration problem! What do you think?

I totally agree. I'm happy to see that you have such a welcoming attitude and understand that there is nothing to worry about. The United States will not become a third world nation no matter how many immigrants come. It is more likely to become a third world nation due to the decline of people entering college--due to college's extremely high cost. The US is facing a real problem in that this generation may not be as educated as the last. . .that will lead to second (or third) world status real quick.

Invest in Mexico, promote their economy, improve their lives and why should they then want to leave their families to seek a better life. Get those companies who are employing them now (probably as cheap labour) to relocate to Mexico, make them pay the minimum US rates, enrich the local economies, give them a standard of living and they wont want to leave Mexico.
I don't understand why people criticise those who are seeking to better themselves.

Opening the border will make us lose our jobs first, then mexico will close off emmigration and they will do it with an iron fist. Sounds worse to me and there are more seasons too.

they would allow every person and terrorist to reach the united states. taxpayers already pay billions of dollars to hospitals for illegials with no health insurance and if any one could come here the people who do not like us will try and harm this great country.
