i go to school with my ex and I'm still crazy about him (his friends and siblings say he still has feelings for me but wont admit it) i had the guts to ask him if he wanted to get a drink today and he said sure we barely talk anymore but i would do anything to get back with him I've known him since i was four I'm 17 now and i want to be with him for the rest of my life people who knew us when we were dating say that we should still be together because we were true to each other and cared so much for eachother( we dated for 2 years) what can or should i do?

he broke up with me because another guy got involved and he didn't want to deal with it (nothing happend) it was a complete misunderstanding that he knows all about now and felt bad for dumping me for ii i was angry at him for awhile but im not anymore i just want to be with him but im afraid it might be too late to rekindle the flame whats your advice

If you've known him that long I assume he knows how to get in touch with you. He would if he wanted to, despite what his well-meaning family is saying. People don't like to see other people hurting so they try to make them feel better.
Personally, I think it might be time to shift the focus off of trying to recapture him and start on you. Go do interesting things. Live, laugh, love, cry, but obsessing on a guy who has moved on is a baaad idea and a waste of your blessed days.

Why so desperate at 17? Enjoy life and quit obsessing about a guy. Complete your education and then get serious about a relationship. You are only young once.

That's really sweet! Yeah you should definitely get back with him cuz you actually can see a future together with the guy. I think he's thinking about the same thing but doesn't want to make things any more complicated than it already is. So do it! :)
