Whatever you do, do NOT stay at your house. Get out of there and enjoy life. Some suggestions:
Go hiking somewhere pretty
Go to a lake if there is one nearby and read a good book
Try to find out if there are any (free) classes offered in your community that relate to something your interested in
Volunteer
Go to antique shops and just look around
Spend a few hours at the library
Go play tennis

Lots of things are free AND will help with depression. Go to the local library, get a card if you don't have one already, and take out books, videos, and music. Take a walk, every day. Go to parks and feed the ducks and birds, commune with nature, it is a great satisfaction watching how perfect nature is. Meditate....this is absolutely free, and it will help release endorphines into your system. Watch funny movies on TV (or get them at the library) laughter truly is the best medicine. Call a friend and tell them why you love them, or better yet write them a letter and tell them. Volunteer....at a school, a church, the local humane society, anywhere your skills could be used. It will help you feel good to do something for others.

Crud...wish I had your tele # you could come and clean my house too...this would keep you busy and forget about your probs. Nah, really, you just sound stir crazy, not depressed, have you thought about rearranging your house or painting with some new interesting colors?
Keep a journal on all the things that you want to do in this lifetime and really think about it...you may surprise yourself...Some of the best things in life are free, enjoy yourself and your leisure. Start with loving the time alone with yourself...I Love my alone time guess I must me vain?!? If you need to spend time with other people just take a walk and vow to speak with everyone you may meet...keep it upbeat and friendly...start thinking positive....mind over matter!!!!!!!!!

Try to keep yourself busy. If you have done all of your housework and find yourself bored just try staying on your computer and surfing the net. There are all types of things that you can do on your computer that you can do that do not cost money and since you already have the internet and are paying the bill for it each month why not get your moneys worth. I find that it makes time go by quickly and makes you forget about your depression for a while. Try it, it can't hurt.

Find some of those beanbags in your basement and learn to juggle. Or search the Internet on how to make crafts from common household items. Or write something, on any topic-who knows, you might even be able to publish it. I hope you get over your depression.

Volunteer work is always an upper. You see more people worse off than you, and you help them. Also, try acting in community theatre. Good luck, been there
