I have been saving up my money for some time now and would like to buy a digital camera; or so I thought. Now I am considering getting a camcorder. My question is what are the best camcorders? Also what is the best brand and how much does it cost? I am so confused that I need some help. Thanks in advance!

I would really like to find some info about camcorders. I heard that Sony is good? What about Canon? Those kinds of things.

we bought JVC built in harddrive camcorder. you don't need tape or disk or dvd. you can record up to 14 hours in 20GB. if you buy 30 GB it is even more. prices are reasonable.
i paid 500 for 20GB JVC (that was 4 months ago)
