Kraft Singles are not cheese!! Kraft can't even legally call it cheese!
Kraft Singles aren't real cheese, they're a processed cheese food, like Velveeta. I would pick real american cheese over Kraft Singles, but with the abundance of processed foods nowadays, I don't think Kraft Singles are something to fear.
"Kraft Singles are a pasteurized cheese food product manufactured and sold by Kraft Foods Inc. One of the more famous ad campaigns involved the claim that each slice contained "5 ounces of milk". The campaign was lambasted for its implications that each slice contained the same amount of calcium as a five ounce glass of milk, which eventually led to a ruling in 1992 that ordered Kraft to stop making unsubstantiated claims in its advertising."

They are not healthy, they aren't cheese. You're kids are better off with block cheese than a "processed cheese food" I stopped buying that junk full of chemicals and crap when I realized how much damage stuff like that does to people. Just because it contains "calcium" doesn't mean it's good for you. You can get calcium and protein from other, healthier choices, like real milk.
Read this link and then decide if you want to continue giving it to your child. (I hope not) p.s. that goes for Cheez Whiz too

Real cheese would be better than the processed slices, but there is nothing wrong with them. Especially if it get your son to like cheese.

It's cheese isn't it? Should be good for him. Cheese is a good source of dairy. The pasta on the other hand isn't a good thing to have a lot of. It's very fattening. Whole grain pasta or wheat pasta is better.

it has calcium in it, that is true, they dump that in, however look at all of the preservatives, and other junk in there, like food coloring! yay!! instead get some natural farmers cheese or goat cheese and let him enjoy a real cheese that isnt going to kill him by filling his body up with unnatural preservatives and chemicals.

Unless your kid is lactose intolerant or sensitive to the salt-content, I can't imagine that Kraft singles are "bad" for anyone.
