Perhaps your blood sugar levels are not high enough. Low blood can cause lightheadedness.

Keep a candy peppermint in your pocket and when that happens again, suck on the the candy quickly. Or if you're at home, drink some OJ as quickly as you can. Both of those will help get some sugar into your system.

If you have low blood sugar, to avoid the lightheadedness, eat several small meals a day instead of 3 meals. Or make sure that you eat something inbetween meals.

Go to the doctor and get checked out just to make sure you are doing fine. Eat your breakfast every day.

have you started having your period? sounds like you might be a little anemic, a condition that is very common in menstruating women. The monthly loss of blood causes a loss of iron that is often not replaced.

Go to your doctor, he can check your blood quickly with just a finger prick. If it is iron-deficiency anemia, he will either recommend you supplement your diet with iron pills, or to eat more red meat or other sources of iron.

Maybe low blood pressure or something to do with your inner ear. I have extremely low blood pressure. Sometimes when I get up too quickly I get light headed as a result. My sister gets light head when she either has or just had a sinus infection.

if this started after the treatment for ur Viral Infection then this can be a side effest of those drugs. its called Orthostatic Hypotension.
it means that whenever u change ur posture, there's fall in ur blood pressure which leads to ur lightheadedness..
go and talk to ur doctor abt it.

very common. sounds like low blood pressure, called hypotension (not hyper which means too high).

esp in thin young girl like you. try not to stand up quickly like that. it quite normal and i wouldn't worry (unless you actually pass out).
