well girls like that r usually just in a crush and they think that the guy is "theres" like they own the guy but it really depends on whether how much she sees him and how much she would give for him

WHO cares WHAT you are?! Its whether you like each other that counts. However 6th to 8th grade is a bit of a gap. Make sure you're ready for the difference and (hopefully) more mature-ness of the guy than what you're used to.

You can like anyone that you want... it shouldn't matter what group or crowd you're in. You'll learn this when you're older.
However, you can see if he is interested but at the same time he might not be; he's in two grades older then you and is about to move on to highschool with highschool girls. Right now, he's at a more mature level then you... I think it's okay to like him but don't get your heart set on anything more.

im sorry if this sounds mean but at that age in a boys life he isnt wanting to date girls younger than him because he's trying to act like a man, and id say he is probably wanting someone around his own age or year so id say find someone that is arund ur own age and when u grow up a lil bit if ur still interested then go for it! just be careful. but all said find someone ur own age k

a mixed what? those two years diff are probably a lot at your age group, but when you get to high school things might change there, stay friends with the guy and keep your options open.
