Well, since you only drink once in a while, your body probably isn't used to the alchohol. Also, all people react differently when they consume alchohol, and your body just might not like the liquid.

Hope this helps!

The drinking is aggravating another issue that is not YET bad enough to show up on it's own. sounds like you have some stomach/gut issues. Do you have anxiety attacks at any other time? If not, don't worry about it, if you do, you might have some anxiety issues, too. Do chi lel chi gong for 2 years to get rid of the anxiety. Don't pop the doc's pills, they only cover up the problem and you don't get any better. The stomach stuff could be a yeast/mold/fungus problem (take grapefruit seed extract for that), bacterial (take oregano extract for that), viral (take chai with star anise, peppermint, cinnamon, or essential oils like francenscence and mhyrr, be careful if you have not used these before.) or you may be intollerant to gluten dairy, or something else. This will not be an over night problem to fix. If you go to the doc for it, they will either tell you nothing is wrong or start giving you expensive pills that hide the problem without curing the cause. They will figure that most ppl will never actually change their behavior to improve their health so they just push pills and don't talk about real health improvement because if they say the wrong thing they can get sued. Good luck.

Yes I do the same way and I hate that feeling. My heart beats hard too the next day. Last night I had two mixed drinks and I was up a while. Ate with the drinks. 3 Hours later ate again. All day my heart has beat fast. That drives me batty. It must be normal. You know it's fun sometimes to drink but it sure isn't worth it the next day.....I have a odd guilty feeling too sometimes.It's a scary feeling and I always think.Why did I do that.
☺
Just stop drinking.

I used to do this also, and was dianosed with an acute allergy to alcohol...I no longer drink, and have no problems...
The common question is "Can I be allergic to alcohol?" Although alcohol can be the culprit, it usually is not. The culprits are usually the additives used in the manufacturing process. Some of the possible culprits include:

* Brewers yeast
* Corn
* Eggs
* Grapes
* Molds
* Sulfites
* Pesticides

Are you doing things while you`re drunk that you feel bad about ? Try drinking a couple large glasses of water before bed, help clean out your system faster, you might be to sensitive to the alcohol.

Yes, I get it, and so does a friend of mine -- we I call it "the dreads."

Alcohol is a depressant, and some of the symptoms of hangover are mood-related -- depression, anxiety, irritability -- especially for people who are very sensitive to its psychological side-effects.

Don't worry -- you're normal. But you may have to decide whether having fun the night before is worth the payback the next morning.

Happens to me. You're not allergic or crazy, but that is a symptom of withdrawl to alcohol. Be sure to drink plenty of water before you go to bed. Try eating something as well.

It seems that you are suffering from a hangover. It is safe to say that you may not be able to handle that much alcohol. It seems that you may not be use to that much alcohol in one sitting. It is obviously giving you these side effects.

Keep it under 5 drinks, and stick to wine or beer, and ONLY one of the two, no mixing. You will be fine.
