Apparently by a couple of the answers I NEED to add more details and reason for this question. At work me and another Christian got into a very heated debate over this. He insist that Jesus was financially wealthy. Though I do not claim to be a Bible scholar or theologian but I do read my Bible daily and I've found nowhere that stated He possessed great wealth as the Son of Man on Earth. Now in His Kingdom in Heaven and His Holy Spirit - there is no comparison.

Mainly I just wanted take something like a poll. And those of you with more knowledege and experience in study of the Word can educate me. - THANKS

Jesus was not financially rich - the son of man had nowhere to lay his head.

He became poor for our sakes

He was financially poor. He didn't own but the clothes on His back.

He had financial supporters. One was Mary Magdalene, she wasn't the prostitute that the Pope in the 9 or 1300 claimed that she was.

I think He was poor, He didn't accept money from people who heard His preachings and didn't ride on expensive horses. If He needed to travel, He did it on foot. Jesus was definitely not financially wealthy.

according to the Bible he was poor but I think jesus used to recieve money or food from the people. for example in a chapter mentioned that jesus had a house in carphenaum.. maybe someone from that town gave to him a house.. but after all jesus was not againts the money he only says give to caesar what he belongs and give to God what he belongs.. in another words we cannot mix the things of God with money.. the things of God are free
