I would just hang out with him alittle bit get to know him better. Let him get to know you better and see how it goes. Don't get too serious to fast though. Him and his girl could go off break and back together.
I really don't like to admit this but I was one that did that to someone and it really hurt them. You don't want anyone to get hurt you or anyone else. It's best to just be aware that it could happen. I don't want to see you get hurt like I hurt someone. I lived and learned and I won't be making that mistake again.
