...that you may be a huge disappointment? That maybe you're not half as smart or funny as the person you really care about thinks you are? That perhaps you're not attractive enough or worthy of their attention or affection?...

I worry about exactly that. That somehow I look so much better on pictures and video than I might in real life.. I'll be meeting a girl on Monday, and I am so worried that we'll meet, sit somewhere for coffee and be nice to eachother just because that's what people do.. While all the time she might be thinking of excuses to run away. But then I realise she'll be worried similarly.. And so I'll do my best to be relaxed about it all, perhaps comfy in the knowledge that if nothing works out we could both pass it off as a silly internet fling, and if it does work out.. Then that would take all the worries away very quickly.
Also, I know you will not be a huge disappointment. You are smart, you are funny and whatever happens I know for sure that any time spent with you will be fantastic. Apart from that you're also stunning, and very much worthy of my affection. I worry, I worry a lot. But the excitement wins, and the butterlfies are partying all day and night.

As long as you are the real you with that person you are ok. Just be real. Don't worry about it. Worry only wastes precious time.

Yep. Some days I think I'm awesome and other days I think I'm a real loser. I think that's pretty normal.

Sure. That's where trust comes in. Don't just trust in them. Trust in others, and yourself. If one lets you down, you've got others to lean on. Basicaly, like yourself, so if they really don't like you, someone (you) still does.

I have, but I realized that they still talk to me, so I know that I am of some value to them.

All of that applies, but I wouldn't call it worrying. Asda, eh? I thought you were English, you can spell. (except it's shepherd not shepard)
