If u r giving a 7 in one shot then you have to mix the liquid vial into the dry vial. Just take ur needle and get the liquid into it and inject into the dried vial and shake well. Reinsert the needle into the vial and turn upside down then pull the liquid into the syringe. push upwards some and tap to get air out. Inject the shot under the skin only, behind the neck above the shoulder area and slowly inject. rub the spot gently knot may form and just rub it will disappear.
If giving an antibiotic do the same way if it is for under the skin.
If the shot is intramuscular be very careful in giving in the back leg muscle this method really hurts them and i do not suggest doing it unless u have to.
It is better to let someone experianced show u as one slip up and u can do harm even death to your dog.

First, you have to know if the shot should be given intermuscular, or subcutaneous. If an antibiotic, give in the hip or thigh. Other vaccines can be given just under the skin, making sure you don't run the needle through the skin and it comes out the other side. Shots like insulin is given under the skin. You pull up the loose skin on the side of the neck and inject the medication there.

Why are you injecting your dog? Normally if you get a medicine from a vet that you need to inject they show you how to do it first. I don't think that you should be injecting your dog if you don't know what you are doing.

If you are going to try to inject your dog, go back to the vet who gave you the medicine and tell him to teach you what to do.
Honestly - I just don't understand some vets!
