I think that the procedure of removing teeth is very physical.

I think it takes alot of pulling to get them out, and in my case, 3 were impacted or had not yet poked through my gums so they needed to cut.

the amount of swelling is directly proportional to the amount of bone the dentist/oral surgeon had to remove to gain access to the wisdom teeth to pull them out. the swelling is the bone's reaction to the injury, and as the bone heals and reforms, the swelling subsides. wisdom teeth that are fully erupted above the gums rarely swell, and wisdom teeth deeply impacted in bone typically swell up a lot. no bone was removed when your gall bladder was taken out, and there was some swelling, but it was deep in your abdomen, which is why it was sore. tissue reacts to injury through an inflammatory response, which causes swelling/redness/tenderness.

the massive trauma of having the teeth pulled/yanked/cut out of your head causes a wee bit of swelling diff. in everyone...also after wards use frozen veggies to lesson the swelling instead of ice it forms to your face better and remember to snake a few of the pills for when you feel all better one pill+ ONE BEER= lots of fun but only if your old enough lol have fun and its not as bad as you think in a couple of weeks you won't even know you had it done the mouth heals remarkable fast.

Because of the numbing shot or gel that was placed in your mouth.
