I am rephrasing my last question, I have thick hair that I wear a little longer out of choice(2-3"), but it is a little unruly, no matter how I comb it it looks like crap after awhile,so I get perms to give it some direction.

I don't think there is anything wrong with you taking care of yourself. If that is what you and your styliist has decided works for you and it makes things easier on you GO FOR IT! The fact that you are not afraid to do it means you are secure in your masculinity!

I don't think it makes you gay. Personally if I were about to date a guy or heard my friend dates a guy that gets a body wave I would either hesitate or laugh. I like a guy that is very masculine which to me, means low matenience. If it has no direction the shave it all off or wear it super short. That's hot. But you should really do what makes you happy and screw everyone else. If someone isn't going to date you just because you get a body wave you probably don't want that person in your life anyway.

Personally, I feel thinks its sounds a bit "Queer Eye for Straight Guy."
But if your doing something to enchance the texture of your hair for better managebility, and its not out right noticeable.
Meaning,not like if you didnt go and get your self a perm, or roller set.
Go for it.

no it probably looks good,just keep getting the ends trimmed because will dry out your hair. the is a shampoo and conditioner that you should try it works wonderful for dry and frizzy hair it called fructris sleek and shine,its about 3 dollars a bottle
