Theoretically yes, I had the same question while buying a wallet with a money clip on the side that is a magnet. I keep my two cards there and they still work! So I think it's fine as long as you arn't placing a huge magnet on them. This one inch strip of a magnet hasn't hurt mine and it is there 24/7

Something that reads "caution strong magnet," placed next to credit cards or even new driver's licenses in your wallet can result in items that read, "unable to read card." The only item that ever messed up my magnetic strips was an eelskin wallet.

Yes, the black strip on the cretit card holds data via magnetic orientation, so as long as the magnet got close enough, you wiped out all info on that strip.

call your financial employer your financial employer and credit card employer. they'll deliver you a clean one, and get it to you anyplace you're (they might swap the numbers on the money owed). people lose their wallets all the time, and businesses are arranged for this! sooner or later, you will get a plastic vinyl sleeve to maintain your enjoying cards in, or, in case you insist on utilising the metallic framed wallet, slip your enjoying cards right into a folded piece of felt.

yes, it will demagnetize your cards. Mine kept not working and I finally figured out it was because the clasp on my purse was a magnet. Now I don't use that purse.
