Go to your local store (i.e. Walmart, Target, whatever) look in the African American hair care section, (even if you don't have African Amer hair type, product is for everyone, they just seem to stock it there) Theres large plastic jars the say Cholesterol (? spelling) (Queen Helene makes one) treatment. Is the consistency of mayo, wash your hair, take a half of a handful and glob it ALL over your hair, leave in for about 30 minutes, than rinse thoroughly. Do this once a week. Will deep condition the hair. Also, if showering at night, take a light amount and leave in over night. Jar costs about 5 bucks, really works. Also trim splits, as they will get worse, and try to use a serum when straightening to keep them down and condition/protect the hair during straightening.

I also have a lot of hair and curly and frizzy! My best product by far that has changed the softness and toned down the frizz is Hair Serum. There are several different kinds. The one I'm using now is ZERO FRIZZ corrective Hair Serum. But there are others and I've had good luck with all that I have tried. The Serum will be clear and when you tilt the bottle it is thick, almost like karo syrup. You will think it will leave your hair oily but it doesn't. I use about a nickel size in my palm, more if your hair is really thick and long, rub my hands together and run it through my hair. I think a trim would be a good idea for those split ends. And I don't wash my hair every other day like I used to. Only about twice a week. Try this and dry with a diffuser, and embrace your curls. I get a lot of compliments on my soft curly hair now. People even want to touch it!

Usually you just have to cut off the split ends. That should leave the healthy hair. Is your hair normally straight? If not, you should just find a style you like that compliments the hair you have. That's not always what we want to do, but it's better than fighting with your hair. If you get something done to it to make it look different, it just grows out and there's this obvious line of demarcation where you're real hair is growing out and the perm or straightener begins. And anything chemical that you do to your hair is going to make it look worse over time. Just embrace the hair you have. (-:

I have frizzy hair and need more than one of the folowing....I use a straightening iron with paper over my hair to keep it from getting too hot. I blow dry it first with Garnier Fructise serum and everynow and then I go to the hairdresser where they give me a straightening treatment and trim the ends off.
A healthy diet with vitamins and protein helps and avoid alcohol and caffeine and cigarettes. Good luck

first, cut off those split ends. then, use a shampoo and conditioner that is specifically meant to reduce frizz and/or put mayonaise in it to increase shine (there are articles on how to do this all over the web)

to keep it straight (if it isn't naturally), you can use a straightening iron or get it chemically straightened, but i recommend an iron (such as revlon, remington) if you dont want to severely damage your hair for the rest of your life

good luck!

If you get a set of good scissors, that are for cutting hair, you can cut your own split ends, i do. Split ends, will keep your hair from growing.

get a trim, and buy a good leave-in conditioner to prevent frizz. Sometimes you can blow-dry it straight with a gel or mousse(depending on if you want volume) . When you blow dry your hair, make sure you use the corrector(beek like nozzle attachment) to better direct the airflow and always point the dryer from the scalp DOWNWARD. To define your curls, use a diffuser its excellent. have fun!♥♥

You should go to the nearest beauty salon and ask the stylist what she or he or you can do with your hair.I think that every one is beautiful no matter what they look like.
