i went to visit the islands in greece for the summer, was snorkling with my bf at really shallow water, we were looking for crab shells when all of a sudden i just felt a little itchy feeling on my wrist, i scratched it and it hurt, then all of a sudden my butt itched as well and it stung me also, the wierd thing is, the very same thing happened to my bf that instant who was about half a meter away, he got stung in the wrist AND his behind...
what the hell was that??? i mean do jelly fish sting only in these two parts of the human body?? or else what could it have been? i looked aroudn and didnt see anything.
it got all swollen and red, my bf's sting was 10x worse than mine, about the size of your hand wide open and mine small. oh and also i got a minor tiny hafl dime size sting on teh side of my lip. i mean, i didnt see any jellyfish or whatever around my face, but i got a minor one right on my lips.
what on earth could it have been???

jellyfishg can be hard to spot seeing they are transparent but it does sound like you may have come in contact with a tentacle they say it feels the way a branding iron would feel very hot and painful if so u need to get it checked out some can cause nerve damage

yeah, it was a jellyfish, a low powered jellyfish from the time that binds and the skies that defnie judah

i don't know, but rub hot salsa on it. Its helps with the redness.
