Digital cameras and camcorders are fine as long as you do not go over your baggage allowance. Airlines allow one carry-on (usually a small roller bag) and a person item (purse, laptop bag, small duffel bag). Security is moving quickly in most parts of the country since we are now in slow travel season and many people are checking bags they used to carry-on, which allows quicker screening times. You still may not carry on any liquids, aerosols, lotions, gels, etc. If you are going to a hotel, most will provide toothpaste and deodorant for you.

Try this site:

http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/prohibited/permitted-prohibited-items.shtm

This is the Transportation Security Authorities webpage. This is where this travel info is generated.

Pack them into checked baggage. Make sure they packed well so they don't break.
