i'm no longer confident i'd call it "abuse" as your little ones study from you or maybe if think ofyou've got the most proper intentions on your little ones, you also conflict with weight problems. I agree that it really is bigoted to positioned a toddler in that position even as they do no longer understand more beneficial positive and are for sure no longer getting to entice close any good eating conduct interior the domicile yet that does no longer advise they don't seem transforming into up in a cheerful and loving domicile. except for being fat they'd nicely be thoroughly content cloth of their lives. I do sense that it quite is gloomy that those childrens have theory of what they're doing and what the destiny ramifications of their way of life is. regrettably childrens are mimics of their moms and dads. i imagine moms and dads like this should be knowledgeable more beneficial about what they're doing to their little ones even if if through wonder approaches and so if through accusing them of abuse, they see the blunders of their concepts then so be it!

It depends on the cause. It can be genetic. Parents have a role to play, but we should accept the role of advertising, marketing, changing culture and lifestyles and the poor quality of mass produced low cost food. Also, it was the government who removed mandatory games lessons and sold off playing fields. It is a complex matter and we would be better to support kids and familities in a positive way through education and support of them and their parents and not demonise them. Over time, public opinion will change, but obese kids need help, not their parents in prison.

To some state it is..... my oldest son isn't obese, however, he is a solid child. I do not buy fast food except on a very rare occasion and if I have the money. I keep healthy snacks at home instead of junk food, like fresh fruits and veggies. I watch what he eats and more how MUCH he eats, and he's like ever other kid, plays baseball, football, rides bikes, runs..... my other son can't seem to put any wait on!

Yes!!! This is a subject that hits close to home. My nephew is 8 and weighs about 95 to 100 pounds and he laughs it off of course he's a child and doesn't know he thinks it's funny that he weighs as much as grown people and he's a kid. It's all my mother, and sisters doing they let him eat whatever he wants whenever he wants no questions asked. Strange enough though he doesn't like sweets you would think an over weight child ok he probably eats candy and cookies and stuff like that all day but he doesn't his weakness is Buffalo Wings. He's not dangerously over weight because he is quite tall i'm about 5'5'' and he comes up to my chest so he might be about 4'5 ish he's taller than most kids his age but that's no excuse he should not be weighing in at 95+ lbs. I saw him playing with his friend in the yard one day and his friend could run around and jump over things and he couldn't it broke my heart because he wanted to jump and run but he'd quickly run out of breath. People please stop HURTING your children.

Feeding your kid crap food all the time is child neglect for sure, but I'm not sure it can be categorized as full-blown abuse.
