Students who are fluent in English take regular English classes, don't they?

For some of us, all our As are easy. But if the person knows the subject, why shouldn't they get an A? Why is it crazy? A grade just documents that a person learned something. This person, if they get an A, will prove they learned Spanish. (But I bet that a lot more will be expected of hir than of those who never read a word in Spanish before!)

If the student wants to take another language, they should be allowed to. Otherwise, just take the easy A and put more time into another class that is harder.

There may be other things taught, such as literature or culture or grammar, so the vocabulary may be a snap, but the other stuff might be important for later classes.
