your children have no concept and you should not be embarrassed or uncomfortable having a bath with them...its actually a really fun time...
obviously as they get older it wouldnt be suitable. but as a young age say under 5 get in there and mess about with splashing and bubbles and what not....

Sure it's normal, a good parent is involved with ones kids. Think of how many toddlers and babies have drowned due to being left alone in the tub. Now the question is when do we as parents stop bathing with our kids? It's a personal thing you know your kids best and can easily judge when they are too old to bathe with mom or dad.

Yes its normal however I thinkthe time at whihc you stop bathing with your children is when they become curisou about your mature body parts.
When my 4 year old daughter who is now 5 started asking be why I shaved "down there" I knew it was time for her to start bathing by herself.
There are just some part of your bathing routine that you children just should see your do. Its not for them, they wont understand why you do it even if you explain it to them.
You need to start teaching them at a young age to learn how to bath themselves, this teaches them that their privates are soley their own and no one needs to be touching them unless it is a doctor while mommy and or daddy is present or because they are sick and cant wash themselves.
My daughter who is now 5 washes her genital on her own and I wash everywheres else.

A lot of moms bath with their children at a young age. I have 2 girls so I would bathe with them. I don't with my 4 year old anymore because she isn't afraid of the water anymore but my 16 month old is so I still bathe with her.

You can bath with your kids before 5 years old. After 5 years, you should consider bath for them, not with them.

I take showers with my 14 month old son all the time. Sometimes that's the only way to guarantee I get a shower each day!

I sure would. There is nothing wrong with that. They are to young to know. They will play with you but that is what kids do. There is also a bonding that takes place for them also. I use to lay with my children on my bare chest whike they were young.
