Jesus obeyed God to the point of death on the cross. He knew that death would not be able to keep Him in the grave.
He did it for us, because death can keep us in the grave. Everyone sins somewhere, sometime. Sin doesn't go to heaven. So even one sin will keep us out of heaven.
Jesus was without sin. The wages of sin is death. So He did not earn death. Our sins are revealed when we see that He was bruised for our iniquities & wounded for our transgression. He shed His own blood for the remission of our sins.
God is ultimately responsible, but He decided to do this because of our sins. Jesus had to have victory over the snakes deceptions & win back eternal life for us. Since the fall of the first Adam, death & hell reigned & we all sin. Since the resurrection of the new & final Adam, so we can all receive eternal life & His blood cleanses us from all sin.
Actually if mankind was not sinful, Jesus would not have died on the cross.
God made a way so we can go to heaven.

Yes, and his resurrection, and ours that is derived from it, and the grace of forgiveness that allows us to have an eternal intimate relationship with God.
God was responsible for sending his son with full knowledge of what would happen, but we are responsible for our sin that causes him to come. The political leaders of Israel at the time (not to be confused with the Jewish race) were the one responsible for his actual death.

i'm not so particular that I trust you. as a rely of actuality that is not our determination while that's our time to die. God's plan isn't our plan. And that doesn't unavoidably incorporate a peacefull loss of life. case in point, John the Baptist became beheaded. You recommend to tell me that he did not have the authority in Christ to rebuke the 'angel of loss of life'? additionally, interior the hot Testiment, there is an social gathering the place the disiples could not rebuke a demon in a guy. They went to Jesus and reported that they could not rebuke it and while it listened to Jesus they asked him why He ought to do it and not them? Jesus spoke back that that kind of demon in hassle-free terms comes out with fasting and prayer. merely being a Christian does not recommend which you would be able to save loss of life away. each and every apostle is an occasion of that considering that in hassle-free terms one died of previous age/organic motives. Plus i don't reccommend entering into non secular war except you're fasting and praying approximately it constently. particular, God needs us to stay a life-time, yet in accordance to His plan, not our very own. If we did each and everything He asked persons who's to declare how finished our lives may be? And except you're like Elijiah, you will die. i think of your intensions are nicely meaning, yet your declare is unfounded in scripture. The decrease than scripture will help. Exodus 13:15 while Pharaoh stubbornly refused to enable us to circulate, the LORD killed each and every firstborn in Egypt, the two guy and animal. for this reason I sacrifice to the LORD the 1st male offspring of each and every womb and redeem each and each of my firstborn sons.' Isaiah 37:36 (New international version) 36 Then the angel of the LORD went out and positioned to loss of life one hundred 80-5 thousand adult males interior the Assyrian camp. while the human beings have been given up the subsequent morning—there have been each and all the ineffective bodies! John 21:18-19(New international version) 18Jesus reported, "Feed my sheep. I inform you the reality, once you have been youthful you dressed your self and went the place you needed; yet once you're previous you will stretch out your palms, and somebody else will gown you and lead you the place you do not pick to circulate." 19Jesus reported this to point the kind of loss of life by ability of which Peter might glorify God. Then he reported to him, "save on with me!"

Jehovah, as he likes to be called, was out on parole at the time of the Bible. Ask the other Gods: Loki, Zeus, and Dianna, esp. like to talk on the subject.
Jehovah murders alot of people during that time period. Once even killing the entire world, except for Noah and his wife and his sons and their wives. They were the ONLY good people in the WHOLE world...
And then they finally get him put away and he starts talking to Son of Sam and David Keresh and Charles Manson and whoever else and making THEM murder for him.
What a psycho!!

Ah ha!! good question... i bet i know what the answer is... its in the bible isnt it? must be......
Edit : exactly HOW is someone dying in such a horrible way, that jesus did in anyway got anyhting to do with 'saving' us? and what are we being saved from? a life of sin?? but i thought we had a choice? if we choose to have a life of sin, then you are not saving them , you are denying their choise... besides not everyone does have a choise, what about abused children.. are they sinners if they grow up to be serial killers???

Yes
His purpose in life was to die on the cross.
If you take that thought one stage further, the implications are horrific for religious beliefs.
A very deep philosophical question
