Hate to say this but you really need to know....NEVER buy a puppy from a pet store unless you know the people there or if they can produce evidence that the dog was bred carefully & humanely. Most puppies in pet stores are bred in horrible puppy mills. Your cavelier attitude about this poor dog as just being BAD is cruel & irresponsible. Have you given any effort to train him? Do you know how much work goes into caring for & training a young dog? Do you love it at all or is all you want is to "get rid of it & get your money back?" You probably bought this dog "off the shelf" on a whim "oh he's so cute I'll buy him" without thinking of your responsibilites to a loving living thing. Please work with your dog & love him or NEVER get another animal.

This is what happens when you support a puppy mill industry such as pet stores. NEVER buy from petstores. If you had bought from a reputable breeder, the breeder would have either never sold you the dog or would have helped you through this difficult time and if it wasn't working out, would take the dog back.
Because the dog was ripped away from his mother at probably 6-7 weeks of age, never socialized out of a cage, and forced to be stared at through plexiglass for the first weeks of his life, it's not surprising that he's having issues.
As for the potty training issues, small dogs have potty problems. Did you research the dog before getting him or did you just get him because he's cute & fluffy? Many dogs never learn 100% potty habits and if he's under a year old, he's far to young to have that expected of him. That's what having a dog is about.
You will not be able to get your money back, most likely. This isn't a shirt that didn't fit - it's a life that you chose to take responsibility for. So, consider the money that you spent a learning lesson on how to pick reputable breeders and what kind of dog not to get in the future.
Below, I will link to a few breed rescue sites along with information about finding a reputable breeder in the future. I strongly urge you to not get a puppy again as most of them will be 'mouthy' and have potty issues. Good luck to you and I hope you can find a breed rescue group to take the dog off your hands and find him a good home.

You're not going to get a refund, that's for sure. At this stage, you probably have such a dislike of the dog that you are even unwilling to seek the advice of a professional trainer. Find a rescue in your area who are willing to take your dog, train him correctly, foster him and re-home him.
Pet stores buy there puppies from puppy mills! They have very poor quality dogs and breed them assembly line fashion to make as much money as they can...in as short of time as they can. These puppy mills don't breed for conformation or temperament, as I guess you've noticed by now. More often than not, that cute little puppy in the window grows into a snapping and snarling beast that the owner cannot handle. (That's if the puppy lives long enough to reach maturity due to various congental and inherited defects!)
If you think you got the short end of the stick, think about the poor female dog who spends her life caged and having puppies simply so people like you can pay huge prices at pet stores.
Right now, all you can do is cut your losses and hope this poor puppy can be re-homed. By purchasing these pet store puppies, people create a market for them and add to the suffering and euthanasia of millions of dogs each year.

How long have you had the dog? They don't just *snap* and know to go outside to potty. Puppies bite stuff just because not always for teething. You just have to TAP his nose and say NO and OWW. Then ignore them. They'll learn that you quit playing when they do that behavior and they'll stop. Worked with my dog and it's working on the puppy I have now.
You can only get your money back, in most cases, if you had a 7 day guarantee and even then it's usually only for health related stuff- not a lack of discipline. I think you need to spend more time with your dog and work with him. Try getting some chew toys for him to bite so he'll be less inclined to tear up anything else. You have to be diligent about taking the dog outside AS SOON AS IT EATS. I feed my 9 week old puppy and she goes outside as soon as she's done. She might not poop right away, but she doesn't leave my sight when I bring her back into the house. She usually naps for half and hour after eating and peeing outside then when I wake her up she's ready to poop.

Can't get the $$ back....never heard of a pet store that would do that for anything other than a serious health issue.
However, I have never heard of that breed. I don't think they are in the AKC registry, so a lot of the issues may be the results of poor breeding or crossing of two very imcompatable breeds! Eskimo dogs were bred originally from wolves and for pulling heavy loads. A mini version would take crossing them with a smaller breed and/or using the smallest dogs from the litter as parent stock. In any case, they are breeding out the best parts of the dog and that is bound to have a negative effect of the disposition, personality and temperment. NEVER get a dog from a pet store!! All it does is promote the continuation of inhumane and unsafe breeding practices.

You have learned a valuable lesson - never buy from a pet store!
Unfortunately, another puppy mill product needs a home. Go to www.akc.org & click on 'breeds' than 'breed rescue' & get in contact with the closest group to help re-home him.
Please, never buy from a pet store (AKA puppy mill outlet) or backyard breeder. You can find responsible breeders through the AKC website - contact ones through the breed's club that are members, and that test & certify their breeding dogs from genetic defects. Good breeders will help you throughout the dogs life with any questions that arise. Pet stores & irresponsible breeders, as you have learned, are only interested that your check cleared, not the health or welfare of the pups they produce.

Chalk it up to a lesson learned of "Why buying dogs from a pet store is BAD." Don't hold your breath for your money back - you screwed up by not doing your research, you have to face the consequences.
As for the dog, have you tried any sort of professional training? There are very few "bad dogs", but a lot of "bad owners".

You probably won't be able to get your money back but if you got him at a pet store, he probably wasn't trained before you got him, which means you will have to do the training, even if it takes a lot of time and patience. If you decide you really do not want him, give him to a friend or relative who has the time to.

Okay. Number one, DON'T get a dog if you're not prepared to deal with behavioral problems!!
Two, puppies will be puppies, and they often need professional training. I recommend going back to the pet store you got him from and asking them who they would recommend for a pet trainer.
