suppose somebody has wronged you or hurt you and these guys are your superiors so you can't do anything about it. how do you deal with feelings of hate, i don't like using that word but I really have no respect for people who take it out on the weak. thanks.

(mostly i'm talkin about unprofessional behavior; wheter it be teacher-student, you name it)

by the way, i'm not from the states. here professors have all the power. i know they get fired in the states if they make one wrong move.

I know exactly how you feel. And you know all the common sense things to tell yourself about learning how to deal with someone else's crap. I am so angry and hurt at someone very close to me. But I know I will not get the response I want, or the satisfaction I need by confronting this very arrogant and selfish person. So I needed to "do" something to make ME feel better. I wrote two letters to this person. In one letter I unleashed all my anger and hurt in the most graphic language I could think of!! Nothing was too harsh. I cussed, not cursed, cussed them out! Then I wrote an I forgive you letter, as if I had gotten the perfect apology. And I will never mail either one. They are for me. I read one then I read the other, and I feel better! Try it! You have to do something with your anger and loss of respect.

It's the pits to be wronged, but worse if it is done by someone in authority. To carry feelings of hate or revenge hurts only you, not them. Find something to do that makes you feel good, but not drugs or alcohol.

I would quit and get another job. And I have! But first try not letting those guys "rent space" in your brain. In other words, don't dwell on it! Don't give them the mental power to do so!!! Good luck.

I focus on keeping my integrety. If I let them get to me, they win and I get dragged down to their level. Being the better man means NEVER doing things like that even when you can.
