Right now i am a temp for hire person working full time at a factory, but i am having severe mental problems at the moment. Thoughts of suicide and inadequecy are rampant in my mind at the moment and get worse while i am at work. I know i need professional help but right now i cannot afford it since i have no insurance and i set up a income based doctor appointment but they cant accept me till october. So im kind of stuck at the moment and have had to take a few days off work in the last 2 weeks to try and cope with what is going on with me. I am really worried about losing my job because of this and i need the work and thinking that i will lose the job makes me feel even more useless. I want to know can they legally fire me for having to take time off to deal with my problem? I dont know what else to do right now, im trying to get help and using the right avenues to do it but i dont know what can happen to my job and on top of that im in school trying to keep that going also. :(

If you check into a free state hospital's psych ward (by saying you are suicidal) for 48 hours - one week, you will get a Dr.s letter helping you to keep your job and school tuition, and possibly and more importantly, your life. Do it soon! Good luck

Go to someone you trust and talk it out. Take school and work a day at a time. You're worrying yourself into a corner
