Ok this can be very long...

Many question I need to ask you.
You want to drive it from Virginia to Mexico?
If so, make sure you are still the owner, you have the title, all the papers the other might need.
I just import a car from US to Canada and I need to send the Title to the US Custom 72 hours before the exportation(the arrival of the car at the custom). You'll have to go to the US custom before you get the Mexico custom. I'm sure you'll have to do the same thing. Here's a good link : http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/export/export_docs/motor_vehicle.xml

It can be easy, and it can be the HELL...

Good Luck!

Well it is easy to sell a car... just take it and look for a buyer. However the buyer will have a tough time with it. The buyer will have to go trough what it's called "regulation". There are certain cars that cannot be imported to the country and therefore you will have a tough time selling it. If you want to go trough the whole regularization process yourself is quite lenghty. I believe it takes almost 6 months. If you are willing to go trough it then all you have to do is find an agent along the border that will do the import regularization for you.

call the state comptroller and ask about selling a vehicle in Mexico. There may be fees that you will have to pay and definitely taxes that the buyers will have to pay. state comptrollers office or maybe an insurance agent may be able to help you.

Good luck.

1st, hope the cops don't pull you over for driving a stolen car.

2nd, hope the Federalies don't pull you over for driving a stolen car.

3rd, make sure you have a ride home after the buyer steals your stolen car.

There you have it, start to finish.

Just park by the border, then you wont have to sell it.

I think most insurance dont cover it. go check your insurance policy.
if it doesnt cover trips to mexico, you can get 1 day insurance or however long you stay there for.
