The Bible also says they will be deceived because they wanted to hear what they wanted to hear and were thus deceived. You must first come to God with a humble heart willing to trust Him and be open to His teaching no matter how hard it is.

Which category do you fall under. Because, whenever I read the Bible I take every word for myself. The Bible says if I judge myself, I will not be judge. So before I spew out fire on someone else I better be sure I'm living a righteous life.

... So your point is? This is what the money-hungry preachers focus on the MOST-- the hateful things that let them discriminate. They're the easiest parts to get fire-and-brimstoney about. They throw those two verses around liberally, sowing seeds of hatred toward anyone different into the minds of the congregation.

You have been deceived if you believe that the bible was in any way inspired by God. Men wrote that book with an agenda of their own.

come listen to the preacher at the church i go to... he'll tell you everything you (a general, not a personal term) DON'T want to hear... the truth. it's hard to take, but it's right in front of your face
