Thanks for the great response.....Is there any other topic you would like included? I will keep answers simple and easy to understand - ie you dont need a medical degree to understand them. I am in the midle of setting up a useful links page - will be up and running later today. Keep the the contact coming...Thanks

on the bi-polar lithium is not used very often any more as a first choice of med because of its many side effects it is an older time med used primary for more-so the top level cases that don't resd well to other types of meds. used more fequently are depakote and topamax, sequil and others.

also there is no mentio of the difference between the two different types of bi-polar. I am type II which means I I only have hypo- manias they are not as bad.
I think the premis of the site is great and some more reasearch and updating of the things are great :)

hi this is a great web site as my farther is a manic depressive psychosis bordering a split personalty.
the website does not look intimidating to view as many sites that cover the different types of mental difficulties do i think its a very good idea to have a link to this sort of website.

Nice idea. I'm sure the questions will still pop up on here though but at least people can now be directed to somewhere with helpful explainations.

Very good, informative, easy to use website.

I would use it as a resource tool myself as I'm training to be a counsellor!
