Nintendo Wii (pronounced Wee) and the PS3 both delayed? Whats the score with that??
Why do we in the UK always have to wait?
And why is the PS3 so so expensive?
(I know it contains blu-ray).

'Why are we waiting?' is the chorus line from UK gamers. Sony and Nintendo have been taunting us with news of their next-generation consoles for months, nay years, but as yet we're still no nearer to firm UK release dates.
Within days of the PS3 launch being pushed back to March, Nintendo has now given with one hand but taken away with the other. Quashing rumours that stock was on the way to the UK for a 24th November explosion, the Wii will in fact go on sale in Japan only on 2nd December. There's no word yet on when it might finally arrive on these shores.
The one piece of good news is that Japanese gamers are being asked to stump up a mere 25,000 Yen for the privilege of being the first to take home the new console. That translates as £113 in good old Sterling.
So we've less to save up but, failing an announcement in the next few days, it looks like it's going to be Xbox 360 versus no-one yet again this Christmas. Essentials Nintendo Wii Price: £113 (in Japan) (yahoo news)
