does it have a setting in the "Set up " menu that asks if it is antenna or cable? if it is set to antenna, it stops at 12 channels, set it up to "cable" and you should get all your stations.

Your TV/CATV mode switch is set incorrectly. When it is set to "TV" mode it will tune to VHF channels 2 - 13, followed by UHF channels 14 and above. Since cable channels are only broadcast in VHF, you need to set it to "CATV" (community access television) as it will bring in all VHF channels 2 - 71 available on cable.

Make sure the Plasma tuner is set to Cable, and not Air. Air will only give you 12 channels. What ever you do, DON'T SMACK IT!

(10 points please)
