Does handwriting effect...?

Well, I'm not really sure but it seems that a lot of the smart people(as in girls) have really good handwriting, well actually most of the girls, smart or not, have really good handwriting. But, I'm a girl, I would classify myself as smart, but I have terrible handwriting. Is there anything that handwriting effects? As in, if there a reason why mine is so bad compared to girls my age?

I've heard the irresponsible thing too, and I know I can be goofy, but not irresponsible. And I asked this question because its been bugging me for years, thanks a lot!

i also have terrible handwriting. most people say that people who have terrible handwriting are really irresponsible or lazy. I don't really think that fits my descrition. I know tons of people who have really nice handwriting to be extremely irresponsible.

Stop comparing your handwriting. just get used to it.

Handwriting doesn't effect anything. It may, however, AFFECT something or other. My mom had wonderful handwriting. My opinion is that it's a matter of spending the time learning how to do it well. Some take the time and some don't. Also, some folks have manual dexterity that lets them excel at it. Probably not smarts or gender specific.

I think people with neat handwritting are more careful and organized and like to have things neat and tidy. They are also less pretencious
