radical Muslims who piloted hijacked jetliners into New York's Twin Towers, who chop off the heads of individuals and who bomb innocent children in suicide attacks. O'Donnell made her comments as host of ABC's "The View."
Co-host Joy Behar protested that Christians are not trying to impose mass murder on America. "This group (radical Muslims) is threatening to kill us all."
O'Donnel Replied: "No, but we are bombing innocent people in other countries. True or false?"

What do you think?

First off, Rosie did a quick shift, the US Govt does the bombing during battles. Not Christians. But more importantly she hates Christians because they stand in the way of her feeling good about her lifestyle. They still believe that the Bible is the everlasting word of God, therefore living a Gay lifestyle is sinful.

That is why Rosie hates Christians and would compare them to radical Islam.

Ummm...

Rosie O'Donnell...

Why does anybody take this person seriously? Her talk show bombed big time (probably not to long after she blind sided Tom Selleck for his support of the NRA), her magazine is kaput...

And they get her to be one of the hosts of "The View"...

Should tell you how seriously we should be taking the show.

Anyways - "radical Christians" are the same as terrorists. O.k. - point out all of the terrorist events that these "radical Christians" are performing in the U.S.?

There was a while when abortion clinics were being bombed - but that was never as wide spread as the terror that you see happening in places like Israel and Iraq. Also, the attacks against abortion clinics were specifically targeted against the clinics, sometimes against the doctors. Terror attacks are directed at people in general, and locations are picked for their perceived "scare value" in affecting the general public. Bombing abortion clinics is a means to stop abortions from happening by damaging or destroying the physical clinic - not to scare people from going to the abortion clinics. While I'm not sure, I'd be willing to bet that abortion clinics that were bombed happened at times when they weren't occupied - again, different from terrorists who want to kill people.

Also, O'Donnell is basically equating "radical Christians" with the military, and the government as a whole - which is a faulty premise - there are members of the military of all faiths - even atheists - so to accuse them of all being "radical Christians" is a bit misguided.

There is also no proof that the military, or the government for that matter, is specifically bombing innocent civilians - in Iraq, or any other country for that matter.

And what countries would those be - I could at least understand the statement (though I think it's stupid) if she said Iraq, or Afghanistan - but she didn't - she said "other countries".

My advice - ignore anything coming out of Rosie O'Donnells mouth - it's all garbage.

I accept as true with Veda. i presumed Rosie substitute into extra clever than that. Her statements replicate a narrow and biased view of the two entities and her concept is extremely limited and there is not any assessment between the two. sure there are sturdy and undesirable in each and each faith and subculture yet you cant base our involvements in Afghanistan and Iraq as radical Christianity. we are in a war against terrorism whether she likes it or no longer. What would she do if somebody blew her kinfolk up? does not take a rocket scientist to determine it out if she already has gun totting bodyguards for then.

Well, Rosie usually doesn't put things to well, however, what I think she was referring to the fact that 70,000 Iraq civilians have been killed, among them thousands of women and children.

Also, wasn't McVeigh, the Oklahoma City bomber some kind of fundementalist Christian? Aren't ther a bunch of people here Yahoo Answers who profess to be Christian and want to nuke the all the Muslims, string up the liberals and kill everyone who disagrees with them?

AND, aren't there a number of right wing Christians who want to change the country to a Christian State where everyone who doesn't follow their interpretation of religion gets whipped, imprisoned or executed just like the Taliban did to people in Afghanistan?

All extremists, Moslem's, Jews, Christians and Buddhists, Sikhs, etc. take an unreasonable demand for everyone to believe what they believe. People who believe they are absolutely right no matter how devout, have let evil sneak into their religion. I saw a documentary on TV about how seductive and powerful it is to feel like your religious view has to be held by everyone, and that you're killing, bombing, imprisoning, etc for God, that is evil. It can sneak into anyone's spirit.

Rosie O'Donnel long ago lost touch with reality- drunk by her celebrity and her place in society as she views it. She spouts anti American hatred based on nothing but radical liberal psychosis. She She is a liar and a hypocrite (Anti gun, except for the guy guarding her kids!) I for one will buy NOTHING from any company associated with her or her show!

She is correct, in terms of saying that RADICALS are just that, radicals. They are not a fair standard to look at to judge a race, religion,or country. AND their ratings are down, never hurts to have an opposing 'view'

Rosie is right. Radical Christians are killing the fiber of freedom we have. When any radical religious exercises exaggerated influence on the government, we have traveled back 1000 years in time.

Most Americans aren't radical christians, but, unfortunately,
our president is.
If you were able to see what he allows in his secret CIA prisons,
you would believe that Rosie has a point.
She can be a little rough, but she basically has good intentions.

Rosie O'Donnel is a flaming idiot! We are not murdering people in other countries in cold blood just because of their religous beliefs. She is one of the worst "America Haters" in this country. If she thinks we are such a bad society, why does she stay here and raise her kids here? Her beef with Christians is not that Christians are bombing people, it's that Christians all across this nation have shouted a resounding NO to her marrying her lesbian lover!
