Irony is a concept that describes a situation where something unexpected happens. I suppose a notable example is Steve Irwin. He was bitten by so many venomous snakes, grabbed by crocodiles and attacked by all manner of venomous creatures, but he was killed by a relatively harmless stingray, a creature that has killed only 17 people on record.

So yes, irony DOES exist. It is a concept that describes a situation. o.O

Can fate be ironic? Sure, how about the "conservative" talk-radio host who said all addicts should serve prison time eventually becoming an addict and getting help from the ACLU to stay out of prison?

I'm agnostic, I require proof of irony before I'll believe in it. Can you provide concrete proof that irony exists?
