I have been dating this guy for 4 months fairly casually although he knows that I want more and we are going to talk about it when he gets back from his trip. But I am dying to communicate with him while he is away but I don't want to scare him off.

He is probably seeing other people while he is on his trip.
I had a girl friend that when I was away she would sleep with another guy and when I would get back I would find myself chemically attracted to her. It has something to do with the male body. We can sense that another man has been with a woman that we like and that hidden smell makes us produce more hormones and sperm and want the person more. Since she would see me right after I got back, she would be the one I always dated. After time she was the one I stayed with.
She told me later what she did. It was 20 years ago and we were not married or anything so I was flattered that she went to all that trouble.
So, sleep with another guy within 3 days before he gets back and then go say hello to him. He will be all over you.
Just let some guy pick you up and let him play with you... you never know you might like him also.
If you are under 18 then don't do any of this and wait until you are older. Under 18 should not be having sex. Just Lots of kissing !! ...but sorry the chemical thing only works if he leaves something inside you.

It sounds like he's already trying to retreat, and communicating with him while he's gone will only add to the problem. Evidently he's not ready to settle down with you exclusively, and the sure way to scare him off is to try and pin him down. Be satisfied that he just wants to be friends and leave it at that. Otherwise, you could lose him for good. If there ever comes a time that he's ready to get more serious, you'll know it. In the meantime, date other guys and see if there isn't a better prospect out there -- someone who is willing to make the relationship permanent. Good luck!

If you want a guy to like you don't pay him any attention what so ever don't show him you care about him because the moment you do he'll lose interest and go chase someone else. Don't tell him anything act like your enjoying life without him.

I couldn't tell you, when you find out, pass it on to me. I am soo missing someone right now that I know I shouldnt be. We had a relationship where things wouldnt get serious but he gets mad when i talk to others and I the same. FOR REAL, FORWARD ME WHATEVER YOU THINK IS THE BEST ANSWER!!!

You have to do it eventually so why not do it soon..if that scare him off..too bad..but at least you haven't gotten in too deep..if he really like you , he will let you know..

Yea you should bring up a specific time or thing you you miss about him like the way he makes you laugh, smile, ect.........
