Babies are born from women now. God said it's gonna hurt (check out Genesis). An adequate number of children are born from women, so there's no need to make more from dirt.

My question always is, why did god choose to make Adam out of dirt, then Eve out of Adam's rib? Seems like god is a bit of a sadist.
