It is considered a stillbirth at this stage, and unless a woman has had many pregnancies, or several cesareans, they will induce labor. Much of the time, they will first wait for labor to start on its own. The body will normally do this on its own if you wait. It really depends on the doctor, and the situation. They do not always induce, and not everyone has to birth vaginally, although many do.

They give you Pitocin (a drug that makes your uterus contract) and you deliver the baby. It's pretty fast, but Pitocin makes the labor hurt much more than regular labor would hurt because its forcing the body to do what it doesn't want to. *By the way* that would be that the baby died in your uterus and hasn't come out yet... and the baby would be stillborn. It wouldn't be a miscarriage. A miscarriage is when you bleed the baby out and only happens before 22 weeks gestation.

Unfortunately it will have to be delivered the same way as if it was a full term baby with the whole labor process and all. It's just something you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy.

A miscarriage happens when the child comes out so the doctors don't have to remove it. They may have to remove the placenta if it isn't delivered properly.

you have to give birth, unfortunately. I think at 6 months it would be a stillbirth, and not a miscarraige.
