i am not as familiar with red hat, but you should be able to run the install and it will give you the option to run it on a different partition.

by this question I can understand you are not skilled on partitioning!. First question; how many partitions do you on your 100 Gb harddrive, one or more?(I think more than one)

U can use Fdisk for cleaning (deleting) and re-partitioning HDDs.
You can use it for any of partitions you want, even for all. You can make partitions up to 4 in a Harddrive. You can get 4 seperate partitions into 1(by deletion old parttions and re-partitioning). I hope this is all clear till now!
In XP you can right click on your My Computer icon and choose Manage, then in the window left-side menu choose Storage>Disk management ------now you can see your harddive on the right side as HDD0-when you right click on it you may see in the if is possible to make a new partition. You may try!

You can use either Partition Magic (originally from Powerquest, now sold by Symantec) or Partition Commander from VCOM to adjust the sizes of partitions after you've already got XP installed There are also utiltities called Boot Commander and System Commander which allow you choose from among multiple operating systems at bootup. They usually are included with the partitioning software.

If you want to install XP FROM your flash drive than no, you need partitions to install that sector of the OS. But what you can do is install windows XP TO the flash drive and just boot from that. It is going to be very slow and cumbersome but it will get the job done.

Most recent Linux distributions come with software to do just this, as part of the installation process. You'll want to scan and defrag the Windows partition first.

Yes, I found the software :ACRONIS DISC DIRECTOR SUITE works better than Norton Partition Manager 8.5
Easy to follow instructions, but please back up he files before
Partitioning.

It worked without problems but just in case.
