Brandon means, in a spiritual connotation, fervent. (from the flaming hill)

Matthew means, in a spiritual connotation, honor to God. (gift to God)

Together it would mean fervently honoring God.

I think it is a cute name for a little boy. You did a good job. A lot of people on here choose these really funky names that I feel sorry for the baby when it's born and gets older and has to deel with that name for the rest of his life.
Brandon Matthew is a good strong name for a boy.

Well my sons name is Brandon so of course i love the name Brandon.
My cousin is Matthew i like that name to but im not sure if i like them togeather.
My sons middle name is Cole, my ex wanted to name him Brandon Lee after Bruce Lee's son, but i talked him out of that when i firmly said hell no his middle name is Cole. LOL

My son's name is Brandon so of course I like that. My son's friend's name is Matthew!! I like them together as well!!

my name is brian matthew and there have been times i prefered brandon to brian because of the sound of it. matthew is always a good name. i think its a nice combination.

I love the name Brandon, I don't think it goes too well with Matthew though.

They are both too long (2 syllabus)and both strong names.Am sure you will like your child to keep both namesas it is when he's grown. Try swapping one with a short one (1 syllabus)
