sounds about right. religion is far too flawed and has far too many holes for a person who questions everything to truly buy into.
"blind faith with no need logic" is how many christians describe their beliefs.

What was your reaction to this part:
"10. Jeffrey Hadden, 1963
Found no correlation between intelligence and grades. This was an anomalous finding, since GPA corresponds closely with intelligence. Other factors may have influenced the results at the University of Wisconsin."
What does that study have to do with religion at all? Why quote such a weird anomalous finding?

I have never read that it is a requirement to be of great intelligence. Maybe you are missing the point?John 13:34,35 [Jesus said] A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another. Philippians 2:3 Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind let each of you regard one another as more important than himself;

I think that I would not trust a study done by a bunch of atheiests. You have to use intelligence to think of God. Fatih takes intelligence. Not believing is God is easy and takes not thought or intelligence.

Perhaps. But there are statistics and lies. First I would look at the scientific basis for the statistics. For it to be correct, statistics have to be reliable and valid. Please study your book on statistics if you do not understand what the two words mean.

Religion makes no scientific sense. It is very emotional and fanatical. I don't think it means only stupid people believe in god, however, but mostly non-SCIENTIFIC people, and lets face it, you don't have to know science to be smart or intelligent.

Pascalian Christian Protestantism. Look up "Pascal's Wager" on wikipedia. Then, determine which religion provides the greatest benefit with the least cost. I ended up with Christian Protestantism.

I don't think it's so much the belief system, as it is what you are capable of doing with it.
If, for instance, you use your beliefs to care for others, you learn more from them.....hence, more intelligence.
However, if you use your beliefs to denigrate and belittle others, you lose the opportunity to learn from their experiences.
Believe me, that is a great loss!!!

the most intelligent persons decides his own faith and follows it without reservation or doubt, that person also understands that others reserve their rights to follow whatever path they choose.
their is a great gap between knowledge and wisdom in this day and age.

Call me stupid, I never claimed to be a rocket scientist. I do not view you as in any way superior because you don't believe.
