Did you ever feel sad when you????

found out your mother had an abortion? I love my mom and she was just 14 but I still think it is really sad. She doesnt even know what happens during an abortion she was like 5 months when she got it, she says she thinks the baby is alive somewhere maybe she means me.

Well, I never had the chance to feel sad... because my mom never had an abortion... but if she did... no. I wouldn't feel sad because then most likely I would never have been born (I am the youngest of four) or I would never have had what I did have in life because there would have been another child to support so we would have been more poor than we already were at times. It might sound harsh, but its true.

I don't think she means you when she says she thinks the baby is alive somewhere.... I think she means the baby is alive in Heaven.

My brother got a girl pregnant when he was 16 and they gave it up for adoption. My whole family is sad b/c out there is a little girl we will never know... Although I'm glad his gf at the time didn't abort it it's still incrediblt sad either way. I feel your pain.

It's okay for you to be upset...because your human! Maybe your mom told you because, it still hurt her to know what she did when she was a child. Your mom need you to be strong for her. We all make mistakes; You should let your mom know you still love her; tell her you love her even more now. Pray that God give your mom peace of mind and your mom needs to forgive herself what she did. Also let your mom know that her other child is still alive... in her heart.
