I am going to an ultra fancy do next week and don't know what to do with the front of my hair. It is long and curly so I am going to spiral it all but don't know whether to put clips or a diamante headband in - any advice welcomed

I would love hair like this.
After you have spiraled it I would take pieces from each side and grip them up together with a fancy clip, I love the butterfly shaped clips from claires accesories.
It will also look good if you put a silver hairband in, they have some really good ones in Claires aswell.
Try both and see what you prefer, at the end of the day its what suits you best.

Divide your hair into 2 sections, top and bottom, by taking your hair from just at the top of your ear and pulling it all up into a high ponytail, just at the top, back end of your head. Leave the bottom section down. Spiral the entire bottom section and tightly spiral the ponytail as well. Now take small chunks of the bottom section and pin it just under the pony tail with hair pins, being sure to tuck them in good and tight where they cannot be seen. Allow the curls to cascade down. If done right you'll have a very fancy up-do that has long, cascading curls. Start practicing now. It's easy enough that I was able to do this to my hair in high school but it took several tries to really get the hang of it and fix it where you couldn't tell it was in 2 sections.

Use real pretty clips (maybe sparkly ones). They look really good in long, curly hair. Or maybe do your hair in a french twist, and leave spiral tendrils out on the top with clips. That's really pretty, also.

get some little diamond bobby pins and clip sections in the front back all the way acros the top, like a headband, but twist your hair back into the clips...

Definately clips as headbands aren't very smart

it really depends what outfit ur wearin hun cz da diamontie headband wood look preey nice but then clips wood look fancy so i wood go with the head band hunni x

go with the headband im sure it will look great. but clips can also seem to be fancier! so go w/ what gos w/ ur outfit.

Hi I have long hair to and i would twist it back with small ringlets hanging down im sure you will look great
