Do you read Devotional Books and if so, what do you look for in them?

I would like to write a book of devotionals. I was wondering what you look for when you read them? And how long are the ones you normally read?

I look for parallels to Bible teaching, which focus on everyday life situations.

Bible based advise on typical family problems, and social concerns.

The best one I have reafd, was by Dr. Charles Stanley. The devotion was one page, covered a specific area, and a Bible verse.

I interested when i get something that touch my life or visible not imaginary . i read religion books for around 2hr
